In Loving Memory of Norman William Stade
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Norman William Stade, affectionately known as Norm, who left this world on January 28, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 84 on paper, but much younger at heart.
Norm was born on July 18, 1939, a shining light that would grow into a beacon of love, wisdom, and kindness. His journey through life was one of resilience, joy, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.
Norm’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his family: his devoted wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the countless friends who were fortunate enough to know him.
Norm was married for 64 years to his beloved wife Jacqueiline, a loving father to Darlene, Joseph, Sharon (Rico), and Norman (Stephanie), whose lives were enriched by his guidance, warmth, and unconditional love. His eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren are a testament to how love abounds. He also leaves behind his loving sister Margie, and many nieces and nephews whose lives were impacted by the love and guidance they received.
His siblings Ruby, Tommy, Allie, Kenny, Willie, precious son Joseph and darling daughter Darlene wait for him in the hereafter with open arms.
Throughout his 84 years, Norm touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his generosity, compassion, and gentle spirit. His capacity for kindness and forgiveness knew no bounds, and his warm smile and infectious humour could brighten the darkest of days. Norm had an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh, feel valued, and cherished.
Norman William Stade may no longer be with us in body, but his spirit, love, and legacy will endure in the countless lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories that will forever keep him alive in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the Oncology units at Credit Valley and Princess Margaret hospital as well as Georgetown Hospital for being so kind and caring, helping us all through his final days.
There are no plans at this time for a service and his cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Assistance Service Halton Hills (CAShh).
