Norman Jewell Obituary
After a brief illness with cancer, Norman passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Monday, May 13, 2024, in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Higgins). Loving father of Sherry Manley (the late Philip) and the late Bryan Jewell. Proud grandfather of Stephen (Wendy) and Robbie (Sin Man). Adored great-grandfather of Mackenzie. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Jewell. Norman is preceded in death by his parents William and Dora (nee McCracken) Jewell, and siblings Stewart (the late Loretta), Doreen Bond (the late Don) and Clifford Jewell. A special thank you to Doris Luna who did so much for Dad and Murray and Janet Bartja. Thanks to all the nurses and PSW’s who made dad feel so comfortable in his stay at Hospice. Private interment to take place at Highland Park Cemetery. In memory of Norman, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be greatly, and can be made below.
