Norman’s Obituary
KEIZER, Norman P. – Age 92, of Meteghan, passed away Monday, December 4th, 2023, in the Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Born in Meteghan, he was a son of the late Dawson and Irene (née Sullivan) Keizer, and stepson of the late Ernest Maillet.
Norman was a true gentleman and believed in being grateful for what you had and being kind to those around you. He cherished his family and friends, and loved to socialize, as well as relaxing with a good book.
Norman was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his niece and caretaker, Susanne (Raymond) McCauley; sister-in-law, Marjorie (the late Clayton) Keizer, both of Meteghan; many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Vivian Lalonde and Brenda Keizer; brothers, James, Gordon and Clayton.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A public funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at 10:30 a.m., in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, with Rev. Hospice Akoffodji officiating. Burial will follow in Stella Maris Cemetery.
