Passed away peacefully at the Huntsville Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2024, he was in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Nobes (nee Tracey) of 64 years. Cherished father of Al Nobes (Sue) and Randy Nobes (Paulene). Proud grandpa & papa of Al, Michael, Kayla, Emily (Lukas), Kyden. Alina, Hailey and Dallas. Norm is predeceased by his siblings Herb, Mel, Gord, Lorne, Fred, Tom, Ruby, Rita and Mary. Loving Uncle to Mary, Debbie (Brian), Brandon, Paul, Cindy and Steve. He will be missed by all. Norm worked at the Collingwood Shipyards and then drove a Gas truck for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, watching wild life and going to the cabin for serenity.
Norm’s wishes were to be cremated at Forest Lawn Crematorium and have a Private interment at Strong Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
