WALKER, Norma Antonietta Giovanna (née Gasbarini) – We the family of Norma Walker, announce with sadness her passing on June 18, 2024. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Daniel (2017) after 64 years of marriage. Norma provided love, encouragement and support to her three children: Mark (Teresa), Rosanne and Mary-Michael (Bill Dale). She was the proud and caring Nana to her six grandchildren: Matthew (Deanna) Walker, Patrick (Allison) Walker, Emma deMontbrun, Taylor deMontbrun (Jermaine Griffiths), Zachary Woodruff and Cole Woodruff. Great grandmother to Kiyonna deMontbrun, Valerie Walker, Scarlett Walker, Julia Walker, Charles and Jermaine Griffiths. Predeceased by her parents Alviso and Matilde Gasbarini, her sister Eva (Donato) DiSante, her in-laws Alex and Annie Walker, sister-in-law Florence (Bill) Hering. In 1965, Norma was one of the founding members of Club Roma Women’s Auxiliary, where she remained an active member and was past president. She worked for a number of years at CIBC and upon retirement, spent many happy times travelling with her husband to Europe, Mexico and the United States. Friends will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold on June 22, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 PM, followed by cremation. Donations to Juvenile Diabetes would be appreciated by the family and may be left along with messages of condolence at www.bocchinfusofh.com
