Obituary
Smith, Nora Mae – 74, passed away at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, on January 25, 2024. Born in Upper Port La Tour on February 28, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Lemuel Adam and Sadie (Rosemond) Langthorne. Nora loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. She was very witty and known for her quick remarks. Nora is survived by her son, John (Alicia); grandchildren, Hope Smith, Dominic Smith, Mackenna Muise, Kyzer Muise and Kaiden Muise; sister, Pauline Crowell; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nora was predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Meadows for their care and compassion. In keeping with Nora’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington.
