Peacefully, at her home in Trenton, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Esther Neil, in her 102nd year, was the beloved wife of the late James Carmon Neil. Loving mother of Bob, Dan (Trish), Allan (Carol), Joe (Genette) and Garry (Beryl). Loved grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of 17. Daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Maschke) Lentz. Sister of Alma and Edward, and the late Anne, Leonard, Elizabeth (Betty), Alvina, Helen, Edith and George. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service for Esther will take place at Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 62N, Maple Leaf) followed by interment in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #110 Trenton, or Quinte Health Care Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
