Murray Ross
January 25, 1962 – October 15, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye, yet celebrate the life of Murray Ross who died October 15th, 2023 (61 years of age). Growing up in Waldegrave (Tatamagouche), Murray was the son of the late Ronald C. and Sylvia (Langille) Ross. Murray graduated from Fairview College, Alberta in 1985 with his motorcycle mechanic certification and after returning home he obtained his Nova Scotia inspection licensing certification. After years of hard work, he established Ross’ Recreational & Small Engine Repair in 2006. Murray took pride in everything he did and everything he did was done with a smile. He was curious about many things in this world with special interest in nature, wildlife and music.
Murray is survived by his wife, Cathy (Munroe); son, Alex Ross; daughter, Lauren Ross (Garth Williams); siblings, Heather Forbes (Glenn), John Ross (Kelly Tattrie); brothers-in-law, Kenny Munroe and Donny Munroe (Valerie); niece, nephews, and cousins. Murray faced his progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS) with courage and dignity. A heartfelt thank you to all the health care professionals involved in his care over the years. Private family interment will take place in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche. If desired, you could consider making a blood donation in Murray’s memory or a donation to a charity of your choice.
