Peacefully at South Lake Health Care, Newmarket on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Carol Lewis. Dear father of Gary (Judy) and Deanna Parente (Tom). Cherished grandfather of Taunya (Nolan), Makayla, Mariah, Matteo. Loving great-grandfather of Isabelle and Emily. Predeceased by his sister Jean Harkies (Ralph) and his parents Errol & Bertha. Murray will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St. Orangeville on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 11:00 am, Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Murray in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
