Serson: Mildred Alice
Passed away at the Carveth Care Centre on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the age of 92. Mildred Serson (née Clark), beloved wife of the late Ernest Serson. Much loved mother of Gail Steacy (Russell deceased), and Dale Serson (Marilyn). Predeceased by 1 daughter Linda Freeman. Cherished grandmother of Elaine (Geoff), Kimberly, Barbara (Todd), Joseph (lily), Angela (Dave), Kathy, Lyn, Thomas, Jordan and Ernie. Lovingly remembered by 23 great grandchildren and by 4 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ronald “Buddy” Clark (Marilyn deceased). Predeceased by brothers Donald, James, Junior, Gerald Clark, parents Augustus and Gertrude Clark and by stepfather John McKenna. Mildred will be missed by sister in law Elsie Clark (Douglas deceased) her son in law Edward Freeman and by her dear friends Pat, Diane and Roger. Mildred will be remembered for her many cards that she sent to everyone for birthday and any other occasion or event that came up. The family will remember her for the baked beans that she brought to every special occasion. She will also be remembered as the one who always had a camera in her hand taking pictures at any event.
A Graveside service will be held at the Olivet cemetery at a later date. An update will be posted in the near future. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Gananoque Humane society or to the Gananoque Food bank.
