Mervin James Wayne Price, born on September 23, 1957 in Renfrew, ON. He peacefully passed away on February 26, 2024 in his 67th year. He was the beloved son of Samuel James «Jim» Price and Vivian Price. Mervin was preceded in death by his father James Price, and his brother Darwin Price.
In his passing, Mervin leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his mother, Vivian Price, who will always hold his memory close to her heart. Additionally, Mervin leaves behind his loving children, Wayne Price and Samantha Price, and their Mother Kim McIntyre (Campbell). Beloved partner and best friend to Barbara Lavigne. Stepfather to Melissa Legault.
Grandfather of Jessie Cobus, Wyatt Genno, Alex Bencic and Mikayla Bencic.
Brother-in-law to Laura Price, uncle to Robert Gallagher, Julie Price, Abigail Price, Ashley and Ryan Theobald.He will be fondly remembered and missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Professional arrangements and services were entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. A burial and Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date to honor Mervin’s life, in accordance with his wishes where friends and family can come together to commemorate Mervin’s life and share cherished memories..In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Mervin.
Mervin James Wayne Price will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. May his soul rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he created during his time on Earth.
