It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mervin Louis Adam, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on January 3rd, 2023, at the age of 73 years. Mervin was born on July 9th, 1949, in Stony Rapids, SK to Eli & Angeline Adam. Mervin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years Theresa Adam; his children Leonard (Dorothy) Adam, Freda (Tony) Randhile, Linda (Roderick) Sanger, Ivan (Nelda) Adam, Adolphus (Marlene) Adam, Dennis Adam, Anita (Melvin), Rochel (Paul), Renee, Ethan, & Raylen; his grandchildren Shannon (Curtis) Fern, Len (Carrie) Adam, Ryan (Joseline) Adam, Rachel (Paul), Renee (Victor), Rexine (Ray), Blake (Kirk), Nicole (Bobby), Kristen, Ivana (Jerome), Natalie (Stevie Ray), Ivan Jr., Ashton, Ariel, Summer, Terri Ann (Kayle), Tony Jr. Adam, Terese, Teiyah, Melainie, Melaina, & Malaya; his great grandchildren Cohen, Liam, Gunner, Nova, Kaleb, Athena, Autumn, Jacey, Auria, Haisley, Jarren, Rihanna, Rylan, Joshua, Raya, Elijah, Jack, Naomi, Emoral, Brea, Kingsley, Presley, Ray, Claire, Tenielle, Nellie, Braylen, Brody, Zee Zee, Bryson, James, Joy, Warren, K, Zayne, Arison, Tiara, Daisey, Antoinette, Skylar, & Levee; his sisters Jean Isadore, Alvina Whitedeer, Caroline (Jim) Isadore, Cathy (Johnny) Pische, Julia Bignose, Martina Bruno, Marianne Adam, Regina (Noel) Pishe, & Alice Adam; his brothers Lawrence (Lena) Adam, Billy Adam, Rudy (Elsie) Adam, Albert (Rita) Adam, Archie Adam, Chris (Diane) Adam, & Jonas Adam; his brothers-in-law Louis Isadore, Alfred Naldzil, Pierre Lidguerre, & Jules (Doris) Lidguerre; & his sisters-in-law Helen Laurent, Sandra Adam, Delores Taylor, & Margaret (Roderick) Denego. Mervin was predeceased by his parents Eli & Angeline Adam; his brothers Martin Adam & Baby Rudy; his sister Janet Isadore; his grandchildren Tristan Randhile & Doriah Adam; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John & Madeline Lidguerre; his brothers-in-law Edward Whitedeer, Edward Isadore, Alfred Bignose, Douglas Bruno, Richard Bignose, Dave Altenberg, August Lidguerre, Alice Lidguerre, Thomas Lidguerre, & Frank Lidguerre; & his sisters-in-law Judy (Leon) Mercredi, Pauline Naldzil, Eleanor (Clement) Pische, & Martha Lidguerre. A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 6 PM at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will be held from Friday, January 6th to Monday, January 9th, 2023, at the Fond Du Lac Band Hall in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2023, at 3 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin. The Honourary Pallbearers are Mervin’s many friends from Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Stony Rapids, Fond Du Lac, & many more throughout the North, and all those who shared in Mervin’s life. The Pallbearers are Joe Mercredi, Jane Mercredi, Billy John Pacquette, Andrew Isadore, Joe Martin, Felix Pacquette, Kevin Stalthanee, Albert Randhile, Cliff Blackmere (Stella), & Shane.
