Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, peacefully with her daughter Janet by her side on Sunday, June 18, 2023, Merle (nee Ormiston) in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley Gray of 55 years. Loving and devoted mother of Janet MacLean (Dayne), Allan Gray (Karen), Debbie Carlisle (Steve), Paul Gray (Terri), and predeceased by her daughter Patricia Martindale. Cherished Grandma and Nana to Jonathan (Laura), Justin (Sheena), Kevin (Sheila), Brendan (Megan), Alyssa (Michael), Natalie (Ryan), Andrew (Jessica), Jayne (Brandon), Nicholas, Emily (Andrew), Daniel, Nathan, Hailey (Brayden), Matthew, and Natasha (Graham). Great-Grandma and Great-Nana to Hudson, Ben, Callie, Ellie, Ariya, Avaline, and Fiona. Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Bob Martindale (Darlene). Predeceased by her sister Lois Puckrin and brother Ivan Ormiston. Survived by her brother-in-law George Gray (Lois) and sisters-in-law Carol and Beth Gray. Relatives and friends are invited to attend for visitation at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday, June 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A service will be held at The Bridge Whitby, 95 Taunton Rd. E., on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
