It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Una Icilda McCalla McLean of Chateauguay, Quebec on June 10th, 2023. We are deeply saddened by her passing.
Ms. Una was a beloved and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in law, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and community pioneer. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. Una loved to bake and cook for her family and friends. She especially loved being a Grandma.
She is survived by Cecil and her 5 children: Paulette, Uton, Jacynth, Warren, and Ampora; 13 grandchildren: Kyle, Christina, Tia, Shecaniah, Jason, Cassandra, Shaniah, Trevohn, Konray, Kareena, Kylen, Kevon and Sypress; 7 great-grandchildren: Devon, Princeton, Hayden, Alaya, Amira, Porter and Kymani; her brother, Tom and sisters, Winnie, Violet, and Iris.
Predeceased by her parents, Ishmael and Myrtle McCalla, brothers; George and Bishop Theophilus (Seymour).
Her passing is mourned by her lifelong friends, her church family and extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, June 29th, 2023, between 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30 at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am at the Lasalle New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church (7780 Champlain Blvd., Lasalle. Quebec.).
