Maxwell Way, 80, of Bonavista, passed peacefully away on April 9th 2023 after a lengthly battle with dementia.
Maxwell was born on Sept. 9th 1942 to Fanny (Francis) and Cecil Way of Bonavista.
Maxwell is survived & missed by his loving wife, Melita (nee Hobbs) of 43 years and his children Ashley & Bradley (Sara). Forever cherished and remembered by his four grandchildren Adley, Lincon, Anna & Evan. His memory lives on with nephew Cyril Way.
Maxwell is predeceased by his parents, Fanny and Cecil, brother Gerald and sister Minnie. Nephew Boyde and niece Daphne.
Maxwell had many professions in his life but found great joy while driving the school bus and helping people in his duties as Ambulance driver. He enjoyed singing and music greatly, as well as playing the accordion.
Maxwell was a fun loving man, who brought smiles to the faces of everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation to be held at Strathie’s Funeral Home in Bonavista on Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm.
Funeral Service will take place in Friday, April 14th at 2pm from the Salvation Army in Bonavista.
