Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, Max Barnett of Cornwall, age 90. Loving husband of Lynn Barnett (nee Valley) for 67 years. Loving father of David Barnett of Cornwall and Debbie Dingemans of Winchester. Dear brother of Dorothy McCadden of Chesterville. Dear brother-in-law of Judy Barnett of London and Len Godard of Williamsburg. Max will be fondly remembered by 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents William and Irene Barnett (Dillabough), his sister Pauline McMillan, his brother Jack Barnett and his brother-in-law Arnold McCadden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
