Halifax, NS … To our dear sweet mother, Maryann Henry of Halifax
who passed away on December 1, 2024, in the Victoria General Hospital.
She was 89 years old.
Maryann was Born in Western Shore, NS on November 29, 1935, the
daughter of Basil Hamm and Clara Hamm.
Maryann was a truly a remarkable and loving woman. She loved her soap
operas, and hockey, Toronto was her favorite team. She loved being on
her tablet playing fishdom. She was a brave and strong woman facing
her final days with her family by her side. She is now surrounded with
all her siblings and parents and the angels.
She will always be remembered as our buttercup and darling. She told
us when we look up at the sky and see the brightest star, that will be
her looking over us.
Maryann is survived by her children, Peggy Sawler, Susan Henry,
Michael Henry, Debbie Prince, Donna Maclean, and Tanya Henry and
eleven grandchildren.
She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving,
generous, and beautiful woman who brought joy to our lives. There will
be a family graveside memorial at a future date.
