On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Mary Anne was welcomed as an angel in heaven to join her beloved son, Sammy. Wife of Antonios for 48 years. Proud and cherished mother of the late Sarkis “Sammy” (2022), Rosie Gebrael (T.J. Smith) and Joey Gabrael. Beloved Situ of Brooklyn, Daniel, Emma, Juls, Josh and Tommy. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Zarif Youssef and her brothers and sisters, Chalita, Bakhos, Theresa, Michael, and Louie. Precious sister and mother figure of Tony Youssef (Stephanie), Sam Youssef, Agnes Toole (Bill), Jimmy Youssef (Pamela), Michael Youssef and Theresa Gow (Jeremy).
Sister-in-law to Sister Marguerite, Hened Sarkis (the late Jamil), Youssef Gebrael (Knoua), Elias Gebrayel (Lilianne), Densie Zeiter (Anthony), Maurice Gebrael (Therese), Mohsen Gebraiil (Ronia), Hanna Gebrael (Nancy). Mary Anne was the proud aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be forever missed by all her ‘favourite’ cousins and her friends. Mary Anne had the purest soul and was a dedicated caregiver to many of the elderly and was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. Visiting at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary Anne’s life will be held at St. Anthony’s Parish, 280 Talbot Street East on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10 am. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
