Peacefully on November 14, 2023 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late George Dollimore Sr. (2004). Dear mother of Debbie (Murray), Kelly (Jimmy), George Jr. (1992), Cory (Laurie) and Rob (Aleisha). Cherished grandmother of Michelle (Andre), Samantha (Erik), Ashley (Rory), Ashten (Nik), Gordie (Brittanie), Dylan (Amanda), Gabrielle (2022), Saige (Rebekah), Brittany (David), Aiyanah, Neleah and Brayden. Great-grandmother of Brady, Austin, Owen, Isabelle, Jack, Ayden, Colton, Tyson, Kayla, Nevaeh, Mykayla and Lillian. Remembered by her sister Peggy and her brother Marvin (Alice). Predeceased by her sister Deanna. Marlyn will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Monday November 20th, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday November 21st, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville. Memorial donations to WWF-Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Marlyn in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
