In loving memory of Marie-Anne Plourde (nee Gascon) 82 years. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, at Health Sciences North.
Predeceased in 2020 by her husband of 62 years Emile Plourde. Loving mother of Daniel “Danny” predeceased (Sue Larocque), Michel “Mike’, Marc (Alison) and Nancy Brisson (Moe). Cherished grandmother of Meagan (Alexander), Nicolas, Jessica, Natasha (Heliya), Stéphanie (Dan), and April (André), and great grandmother of Andrew and Madelyn
Predeceased by her parents Rodolphe and Mélina Gascon. Dear sister of Mélina Fraser (Charles) both predeceased, Maria Meier (Lawrence) both predeceased, Laurette Bechard (Bill predeceased), Rodolphe (Pauline) both predeceased, Aimé predeceased, Pierre predeceased, Marielle Nicksy (Don predeceased), Angémma predeceased (Richard), Eugénie predeceased and Roseanna predeceased. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends,
Marie-Anne enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. Her passions were knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed giving her handmade gifts that we will all treasure. When you visited you could be certain she had a new project on the go. Her summers were spent camping with her twin Marielle. Her Saturday evenings were set aside for TV bingo. She was a kind soul that put everyone first. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside her husband in the Valley East Cemetery.
