God called Mariangela Tucci peacefully on January 28, 2024 at the age of 97. She is now reunited with her loving husband Domenico of 57 Years. Cherished by her dear children, Concetta (the late Antonio) Servello, Rosa (Bruno) Gagliardi, Nick (Natia) Tucci, Elisa (Francesco) Nesci. Loving sister of Vito Servello and predeceased by 5 siblings.
Adored Nonna to her 11 grandchildren, Cathy Servello, Angela (Vincenzo) Umbrello, Vito (Serena) Servello, Rosemary (Bruno) Moscone, Frank (Colleen) Gagliardi, Domenic (Nella) Gagliardi, Lisa Gagliardi, Domenic (Linda) Tucci, Amanda (Mark) Cheel, Stephanie (Donald) Stopka and Marianna (Antonio) Polimeno. Proud Bisnonna/Nonuzza to her 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren with her third to arrive in the coming weeks.
Mariangela was born on May 27, 1926 in Simbario, Italy. She arrived in Canada at age 29 with her four children, reuniting with her husband in Toronto after two years apart. She was very hardworking and committed to building a fruitful life in Canada with Domenico.
Mariangela will be remembered for her strong faith, warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the generations she touched. Mariangela will be dear in the hearts of the lives of her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mariangela may be made to Radio Maria and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Visitations for Mariangela have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 9:00pm
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, times will be updated once confirmed. Immediately following Mariangela’s Funeral Mass, her entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Highway 27, Woodbridge, Ontario).
