God called Maria peacefully to be reunited in Heaven with her late husband Rosalbino, on November 29th, 2023 at the age of 92. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children Tony (Vincenza), Joe (Dora), Salvatore (Pina), Mary (Luigi (d.)), and Pina (d.) (Mario). Proud Nonna to Sam (Sabrina), Mary (Jon), Andrew (Jillena), Diane (Alex), Teresa (Kris), Rita (Maz), Jimmy (Lydia), Vince (Gianna), Salvatore (Tracey) and Mirella (Rino), and bisnonna to 19 beloved great-grandchildren. She was a cherished sister of Antonia (Vittorio) and is reunited with her brothers and sisters who have passed before her. Maria will be deeply missed by her extended family. She will be held dear in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.
If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4L 0K6, Tel- 905-850-9500) on Sunday December 3, 2023 from 4-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day on Monday December 4th, 2023, a time and location will be updated once confirmed. Entombment to immediately follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., Thornhill, On.).
