Born on July 10, 1942 in Mramorak, Yuoslavia. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of 64 years to Vasa.
Loving mother of Verginica Krizan (Edward), Mariana Stoicu (late Paul), Kevin (Amanda) and Chris (Danijela).
Cherished Maica of Rachel Botosan (Jason) and Edward Krizan III, Stephen, Daniel and Matthew Stoicu (Roberta), Skyla, Lincoln and Hudson Boronka and Nikola, Aleksandar, Petar and Filip Boronka and Great Maica of Isabella Botosan and Vasa and Anya Stoicu.
Dear sister of Rosina Bundrea, Florika Pauser (late Panta), Silvia Isakov (Nenad), the late Dragina Josic (late Pavle), Lidia Bundrea, Kia Ardeljan (Vasa), Viorel Bundrea (Alice), Viorica Dudok (Miroslav) and Cornelia Brenner (Jeff).
Fondly remembered and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and church family.
Maria was baptized on December 16,1979 and has been a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarean Church) for over 44 years.
Maria’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those unable to attend may join the service via live stream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Apostolic Christian Church Nazarean – Avon Rd (Building Fund) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
