Peacefully at the Palace LTC on Friday, June 23, 2023. Margaret Theresa Lefebvre (née Dupuis) of Alexandria; age 79 years. Loving mother of Jacques Jr. (Laura Copeland), Dianne Lefebvre (David Clements) and the late Pierre. Dear sister of Bernard Dupuis (Jocelyn), Rosemary McGlade (Pete) and Donna Greenwood (late Joseph). Predeceased by her parents, Edward Dupuis and Jean Towne. Cherished grandmother of Pierre, Andrew, Hayden and Lara; and step-grandmother to Connor and Callum. Also survived by Jacques Lefebvre Sr. the father of her children, her sisters-in-law, Evelyn (late David) Wharry, Ghislaine (late Bob) Renaud, and brother-in-law Marcel (Suzanne) Lefebvre and by many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 1-2 pm. A Liturgy of the Word will be said in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home at 2 pm. Urn burial to follow in the cimétière Sacré Coeur. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Margaret a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
