Margaret Gallant passed away peacefully on January 7th, in her 99th year. Born in Minnesota, U.S.A., she grew up in Nova Scotia surrounded by her large family. She lived a happy life with her partner, Frank Rizzardo; the warmth of their relationship was evident to everyone around them. Margaret had a long career with Eaton’s, working in downtown Toronto and at Yorkdale. Her passions included knitting and needlepoint, chasing lady luck at Bingo, and enjoying a cup of coffee, two creams. She was loved by so many, and will be missed by all.
