It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret-Ann Kohli, surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
Lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years Robert Kohli, her children Cathy-Anne Myles and Wade (Jill) Perkins, her stepchildren Greg Kohli (Johanne), Susan Kohli Cranford, David Kohli (Vicki), her grandchildren, Valerie, Kaylee, Breanne, Shannon, Jordan, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Robert, Melissa, Mathew, Michael, Jasmine, Jessica and Justin and several great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Andrew (Vanessa) Marshall, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and relatives locally and in Barbados and Australia. Predeceased by her parents, Austin and Phyllis Marshall, her brother Peter Marshall, and her son-in-law Vic Tyrrell.
Margaret-Ann was born and raised in Barbados. She emigrated to Canada in the late 1960’s where she embraced her new home with all the changing seasons. With her gardening, decorating and especially her kindness and love towards people, Margaret-Ann was all about making the world a more beautiful place. Margaret-Ann had a generous and loving heart which was demonstrated by the way she cared for those around her and with her many volunteer activities such as the Saint Luke’s Foundation and the Hespeler Horticultural Society.
The family would like to thank the staff both at Saint Luke’s Place and at The Village of Winston Park for the love and care they showed Margaret-Ann and her family over the past several months.
Cremation has taken place. We invite you to celebrate the life of Margaret-Ann, with her family, on Sunday November 24th at Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge) in Hespeler at 2:00pm. Visitation will take place one hour prior, reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Luke’s Place would be appreciated.
