The family announces with sorrow his passing on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 57. He leaves behind his mother Pierrette Hurtubise (nee Langlois); his sisters Diane Hurtubise, Muriel Hurtubise (late Thomas Johnston) and Linda Pedskalney (Peter) and his brothers Yvon Hurtubise (Mitchelle) and Norm Hurtubise (Sherry). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Samantha (Greg), Jeremy (Courtney), Kayla, Andy, Megan, Bryanne, Trista (Jake), Crystal and Amanda. He will also be missed by his friend Jill Sauvé. Marcien was predeceased by his father Marcel Hurtubise, his niece Melissa and his nephew Robert.
Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
