Obituary of Marcel Christiaens
Christiaens: Marcel a resident of Wardsville, passed away at the Strathroy Middle General Hospital on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 58. Born in Wallaceburg, son of the late Peter and Annie (VanCraenenbrock) Christiaens. Marcel was a proud member of the Rubber Boot Gang. Beloved husband of Denise (Ruston) Christiaens. Marcel is survived by his step-children Shawn (Naoko), Doug (Theresa), Rob (Jessica), Ted (Vanessa) and step-grandchildren Jade, Nik and Melody. Dear brother of Virginia Whitmarsh (Paul) and Roger Christiaens (Dorothy). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and Family will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. A Time of Reflections will be held at 1:00 PM. Cremation will take place with Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. If desired donations to Four Counties Health Services Foundation would be appreciated.
