1922-2024
Mabel Alice Eagles of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully on the
morning of Saturday, March 9, 2024.
Mabel was born in Tabusintac, NB, on September 2, 1922. She was the
daughter of the late George and Velma (Robertson) MacCallum. She was
the last surviving member of her family.
Mable leaves behind her daughter, Diane George, her sons, H. William
Eagles (Sheila) and Tom Eagles (Cheryl) all of Plaster Rock, NB; her
grandchildren, Ryan Eagles, Daniel Eagles, Brett Eagles, Brook Eagles,
Mark Eagles, Brenda Reid, and Richard George; ten great grandchildren
and four great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and
nephews.
Mabel was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harry Eagles Sr. in
1972; her grandson, Steven Edward Eagles; her son-in-law, Reginald
George; her siblings, Arthur (Leila) Neil, Avis (Whitney) Leiper,
Josie (Gordon) Christophersen, Donald (Glenna) MacCallum, and George
MacCallum.
Mabel will be resting at the Family Worship Center in Plaster Rock,
NB, with visitation on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 12-2 pm. Funeral
service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday with . Pastor D. R. McKillop
officiating. Interment will be in the Plaster Rock Cemetery in the
spring.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Building Fund of F.W.C.
or to missions would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
