It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Teresa (Boucher) Richard of Port Hawkesbury, and formerly of River Bourgeois, which occurred at the Richmond Villa in St. Peter’s on January 8, 2023. Born in River Bourgeois on January 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie (Bourque) Boucher of River Bourgeois.
Lucille is survived by her children, Donna Dorton, Port Hawkesbury; Danny (Kathy) Doiron, Port Hawkesbury; Alfred (Jocelyn), Quispamsis, N.B.; Dawn Crim, New Glasgow; Lorelei, Port Hawkesbury; Stephen (Pauline), Port Hawkesbury; Rodney, New Glasgow; Teresa (Mark) Regenwetter, Prince George, B.C.; Jennifer (Greg), Port Hawkesbury; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and sister, Sylvia Hall, River Bourgeois.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Alfred Joseph Richard; son, Jean David Richard; daughter, Giselle Marie Richard; brother, Earl Joseph Louis; brother-in-law, Tom Hall; son-in-law, James Richard Dorton.
Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
