Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Joseph Elmer Lucien Cuerrier of Alexandria; age 76 years. Beloved husband to Francine Cuerrier (née Godard). Loving father of Luc (Shannan) and Pierre. Proud grandfather of Marie-France (Ford), Émilie, Patrick, Serena and Jasmine; great-grandfather of Aubrey, a new great-granddaughter (born May 15), Mason and Bradyn. Dear brother of Claude Cuerrier (Huguette), Robert Cuerrier (late Aline), Gilles Cuerrier (Emilie Robichaud) and Suzanne Lavigne (Jean-Pierre). Predeceased by his parents René Cuerrier and Beatrice Sabourin; also, by his brother André. Lucien will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613) 525-2772 on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at église Sacré Coeur on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lucien a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
