It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louie on June 5, 2023 at the age of 67, surrounded by his loving family.
Loving husband and best friend to Bruna (Politi) with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage. Cherished father to Shane (Jen), Anthony (Josie), Jason (Hope), Terrence, Tarra, Joe, Lou Jr. Louie is reunited with his parents John and Colleen. Beloved brother to Lance (Shelley), Sandy (Tom) Bastien, Lisa, Mike (Rose) and the late John, Carol, Russell and Colleen. Dear son-in-law to the late Vincent and Josephine Politi. Louie will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Maria (Joe) Lepera and Joe Politi (Mellony) and by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Louie will be deeply missed by his Tim Horton’s coffee crew buddies. Louie is now reunited with his dog Coco.
Louie had a passion for boxing, gardening, cooking especially his homemade oversized hamburgers. Louie’s family would like to send a very special thank you to the staff on 4W at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

Visiting Thursday June 8, 2023 from 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Thursday 4:30 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Friday June 9, 2023 family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) after 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
