Lorraine Barbara ‘Lor Blur’ Taylor, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the age of 89. Lorraine is the daughter of the late Victor and Agnes (Sands) Ermatinger. Loving mother of Lorna Doxtator, Lorne Taylor and Patrick Taylor. Dear grandmother of Cochise, Joshua, Greg, Lisa, Deanna, Tina and Lorne. She was the sister of Ruth, Gertrude, Nick, Pat, Marilyn, Rita, Amos, Mike, Anthony, Vicky, Marie, Suzie and Margaret. Lorraine was a housekeeper and nurse’s aid in Michigan and a farmhand and babysitter here in Ontario. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 4 – 7 PM on Friday, May 10. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Saturday, May 11 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
