KENT, Lois (nee Pineo)…Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Don Kent of Trenton. Loving mother of Don (Sonja) Kent, Michelle (Bevett) Horner and Jackie (Bill) Hilton. Loved Grammy of Tamara, Pamela, Billy, Daniel, David, Ashley, Aidan and Keira. Great Grammy of Sadie, Morgan, Kamryn, Reggie, Weston and Barrett. Lois is survived by her loving brothers Harry (Donna), Billy (Ruby), Donnie (Ardith), brother in law Clarence ( Letty) and sister in law Sharon. Lois is predeceased by her siblings Reg, Rose, Gerald, Alberta, Nancy, Marion and James. She will be remembered by her cherished sisters and brothers in law and many nieces and nephews. Mom will be remembered by her longtime friends and their families. Mom received her lifetime service pin for her active involvement in Legion and Ladies Auxiliary until her decline in health. Mom enjoyed cards, darts and bowling. Words could not express our appreciation of Dr. Noland’s exceptional care and attention to our mother. Thank you to the Paramed RN and PSW team, a special thanks to Michelle (palliative RN). The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home – East, 29 Bay Street Trenton on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Legion Memorial Service Branch #110 will be held on Friday at 6:45 pm prior to visitation. A memorial service will be held at Weaver Family Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 am. Reception to immediately follow. Interment will take place in the spring at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
