Mrs. Elizabeth “Lizzie” Jones of Upper Island Cove passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Saturday January 27, 2024. Mrs. Jones was 88 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:

Grandchildren: Gail (Warren), Tanya (Rob), Darrell (Sherri), Bradley (Lori-Anne) & Crystal (Wade)
Greatgrandchildren: Brandon, Brent, Jordan, Joshua, Joshua, Jacob, Jaden, Jaxson, Tyler, Dylan, Brady, Alyssa, Savanna, Dakota
Great Great Grandson: Ryder
Sister: Susie Lynch
Sister-in-law: Florence Mercer
And a large circle of nieces, nephews, family & friends…

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE on Monday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday: 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M.. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
The Funeral service will take place at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
