With shattered hearts and broken spirits, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beautiful girl, Lisa Dianne. She was born on November 27, 1973, the middle child of Marjorie and Cecil Maye. Leaving us at the age of 50 years has left us totally devastated as a family and we feel like our hearts will never mend.
Leaving to love and miss her forever are her loyal and faithful partner, Aubrey Frampton, precious daughter, Coralee, special adopted daughter, Alyssa, loving parents, Marjorie and Cecil, sister, Sherry, (Mathias), sister in law, Marilyn, (Joe), brothers in law, Carmen (Maxine), Wilfred (Pam), special nephew, Ethan and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends all across Canada.
Predeceased by brother, Jason (2008), maternal grandparents, Rita and Sidney Hynes, paternal grandparents, Laura and Clifford Maye, in laws, Rebecca and Frank Frampton, special cousin, Barry and special uncle, George.
Lisa’s bubbly personality endeared her to everyone and she was a bright light that lit up our world. Her life overflowed with kindness towards others and she loved the simple things in life. She was an angel on earth and now she’s an angel in heaven. Look out heaven, here she comes!
We extend immense gratitude to the staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, especially the paramedics who worked on Lisa enroute to the hospital, Dr. Nwankwo, ICU nurses Lindsay and David and all others who assisted us. Kindness and compassion were in abundance toward us and you all are a credit to your profession.
The kindness and support from our family and friends has overwhelmed us and we are so thankful for all the food, hugs and love shown at this devastating time in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If others had our family bond, what a wonderful world it would be.
Rest easy our precious girl and we will meet again on that bright and cloudless morning. God makes all things beautiful in his time.
Don’t cry because I’m gone, smile because I was here. LOVE YOU FOREVER.
Lisa`s family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Burin (193 Main Street) on:
Monday, February 26th, 2024
2:00pm to 4:00pm
7:00pm to 9:00pm
At the family’s request masks to be worn during visitation and funeral times
A funeral service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Burin on:
Tuesday, February 27th, 2024
2:00pm
Inurnment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Monkstown at a later date.
