Lionel James Morrow peacefully passed away, with his wife by his side, on January 1, 2023 at the age of 71 years.
He was born in Manning, Alberta on June 7, 1951 to Archie and Betty Morrow.
Lionel is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Dianne; daughters Denita (Dave), Michelle (Mike), and Brittaney (Josh); six grandchildren Schantelle (Robert), Joel, Rylee, Haylee (Sam), Brandt, and Brennan; two great-granddaughters Payton and Zoi; five brothers & sisters and their families; his aunts Dolores Morrow and Florence Morrow; his 3:00 o’clock Coffee Buddy mother-in-law Helen Churchill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lionel was predeceased by his parents Archie & Betty Morrow; brother Roger Morrow; an infant brother Archie Morrow Jr.; nephew Roger Morrow; father-in-law Donald (Bill) Churchill; and his nephew Kyle Churchill.
Donations in Lionel’s memory are gratefully accepted to any charity of your choice.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (Live-Stream Broadcast) with the Interment Service following at the Forest Home Cemetery in Ponoka. A Memorial Reception will follow at the Ponoka Legion.
