It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Linda Donovan-Vienneau announces the unexpected passing of their beloved mother at her late residence in Miramichi, at the age of 73.
Born in Russellville NB, she was the daughter of the late Augustin and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Savoie. She was a Special Care Worker and also a homemaker. She was a member of Boom Road Pentecostal Church, former member of CWL and also a member of TOPS.
She is survived by two daughters; Brigitte Donovan of South Esk and Darla McEvoy (Melvin) of Millerton, two sons; Andrew Donovan (Geraldine) of Miramichi and Calvin Donovan of Miramichi, step daughters; Tammy Robinson (Steven) of Fredericton and Tena Price (Mark) of Fredericton, step sons; Vincent Vienneau (Sherry) of Fredericton and Larry Vienneau (Isabel) of Fredericton, sisters; Annette Hitchman (Billy Guy) of Baie Ste Anne, Jeannine LeClerc (Philorome) of St. Wilfred and Simonne Savoie of Neguac, brothers; Raymond Savoie of St. Wilfred. Eldon Savoie of Neguac, Cecil Savoie of Neguac and Evan Savoie (Linda) of Alberta, her grandchildren; Thomas Donovan, Brooklynn Donovan and Brianna Donovan of Loggieville, also many nieces and nephews and her special caregivers Maureen Carruthers and Tyson Doyle, as well as lifetime friends Betty Donovan and Jerry Robichaud-McDowell.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was known to all as a very giving, kind and selfless woman. She loved her children dearly and her grandchildren were the sunshine to her soul. She loved to cook and have large family gatherings and every birthday, holiday, or special occasion needed to be celebrated. She was the family glue. Her home was always very welcoming for so many who stopped by for a coffee or a visit. But nobody got to leave without one of her famous hugs and an I love you.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her”
Besides her parents and her husband David, she was predeceased by brothers; George, Eddy and Ovila and one sister Evelyn.
Linda Marie Donovan-Vienneau is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday February 16, from 2-4 & 7-9.
