HEASMAN, Linda Elizabeth – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Heasman on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, in her 76th year with her loving family by her side. Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Russell and Marie West. Survived by her husband Dennis Heasman, who have been happily married for the past 53 years. Together they have two daughters; Jenni (Clayton) Beaver and Kerri (Darcy) Raybould. Linda was a very proud grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren; Liam Beaver, Sophie Beaver and Jameson Raybould. Survived by her cherished siblings; John (Joanne) West, Peter (Loreen) West, Jill West and Kelly West. Linda will forever be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, she thoroughly enjoyed the little things that life had to offer, and never took herself too seriously. Linda was the secretary for Stirling Junior School for approximately sixteen years. She was extremely proud of her Stirling roots, community, and circle of friends. Linda always looked forward to visiting her group of friends that were known as «the coffee girls», they met every Friday morning for coffee and chit-chat for many years. Linda will forever be in the hearts of her many family and friends. «Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.»
Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES – BELLEVILLE, (80 Highland Ave. 613-968-5588). A Funeral Service will take place at Saint Paul’s United Church in Stirling, on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (visitation from 12noon – 1:00 p.m.) Refreshments will be served following the service. If desired, donations can be made in her name to the Maria Pollard Memorial Bursary, for local students attending the nursing program at Loyalist College. Maria was Linda’s best friend and beloved sister-in-law. She would be honoured to contribute to the spirit of this fund. Donations can be made online, people will receive an email from the college to confirm and ask about where it should go. We can collect cheques made out to Loyalist College with Maria Pollard Bursary written on the memo line, we will ensure donations are directed appropriately and people should receive receipts from the college once they are submitted.
