Graham, Leonard Orville – Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on September 4th, 2024 at the age of 94. Len will be deeply missed by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Karen (John), Kathy (Earl) and Jo-Anne; Grandchildren: Andrea (Roy), Andrew (Alyona), Brad (Kristina), Rachel, Stephen (Rachael), Matthew (Taylor), Rachelle (Jeremy) and Stefanie (Dean); Greatgrandchildren: Chloe, Mya, Jaxon, Olivia, Mikayla, Oaklyn, Cameron and Arthur; Sister, Alice. Predeceased by his brother, Maurice and sons-in-law, Tom and Clem. Len will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Len was a man with many talents and skills which he used in a myriad of positions over his life including farming, local politics, child care work for at-risk youth, maintenance work at a retirement home, volunteer work in the community as well as being an active member of the Church of Christ. In his spare time, he enjoyed curling, travelling and most of all spending time with his family.
Len lived his life loving and serving people demonstrating patience, gentleness, kindness and wisdom in all facets of his life.
A celebration of Len’s life will take place at the Beamsville Church of Christ located at 4900 John Street on October 26th at 1:00 pm. Visitation will take place after the service.
In memory of Len, donations may be made to Great Lakes Christian High school or to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at The Jacob Senior Living and St. Peter’s Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
