Obituary
Leonard Henry Aiken, passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. He was in his 95th year.
Leonard Aiken dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Betty Aiken (nee – McMillan). Dearly loved father of Rhonda Abra (Bill), of Owen Sound, Karey-Lane Reid, of Chesley and Todd Aiken (Sandra), of Belgrave. Cherished grandpa of Danyele Rabidoux (Ben), Brittani Fisher (Brent), Sheena Middleton (Dan) & Mitchell Reid (Lorraine). Proud Papa Len of Jacob, Julia, Adalyn, Lance, Harper, Darby and Weston. Remembered by Todd’s children, Ashley, Karley & Landon. Survived by sister- in-law, Lois Urstadt, of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Gertrude Aiken (nee-Ball); son, Darwin Aiken at birth, sisters, Irene Aiken, Ilda Aiken and Myrel Greenaway; brother Ross Aiken; brother-in-law, Ted Urstadt; sister-in-law, Muriel Aiken and granddaughter Robyn Abra.
A funeral service to celebrate Leonard’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
