Leo Vincent Richards
1939-2024
The death occurred peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024,
at The Mews Assisted Living in Margate, PEI of Leo Vincent Richards,
84, formerly of Summerside and Kinkora. Born in Kinkora on December 2,
1939, he was the son of the late George M. Richards and M. Alice
(Peters) Richards.
He is survived by his brother Eric and wife Joyce of Bedford,
NS, brother Douglas Peters and wife Bev of Kinkora, brother-in-law Leo
Arsenault of Kensington and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters:
Lorne Richards, Edna Arsenault, Georgina and husband George Myers, and
Joan and husband Tom McAlpine.
The family would like to
express their appreciation to the doctors and medical staff of Prince
County Hospital and Saint John Regional Hospital for Leo’s
excellent care.
Funeral service will be held at St.
Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at
11:00 A. M. Reception to follow at Kinkora Place,
Kinkora. Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home,
Kinkora.
