Lee passed peacefully on Wednesday March 22, 2023 with the support of his wife and daughters. Beloved husband, for 53 years to Sharon Coulson (Elsworthy). Loving father of Julia Dolenc and her husband Marko, and Melissa Hedderson and her husband Rick. Dear grandfather of Michael and Cameron. Sadly missed brother of Tim Coulson and his wife Andrea. With an impish grin and a terrific sense of humor, Lee will best be remembered as a hunting and fishing good ole’ boy who would always be willing to sit around the kitchen table and share a cold beer with you. He was happiest on the water in his boat or chilling on the beach in Aruba. Husband, father, coach, grandpa and terrific story teller, we are comforted in knowing that he’s sitting around the table playing poker with his buddies and enjoying a cold beer with them. A sincere and heartfelt thanks to the incredibly gracious nurses and doctors at West Parry Sound Health Centre who helped the family through this difficult journey. A special thanks to the ICU nurses for their patience and kindness. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound). At the request of Lee, no funeral service will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date where we know Lee would like to share a beer with family and friends. Details will be forth coming. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation.
