After a brave battle, surrounded by her family at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Leah Carmen Woods (nee Leblanc) of Monkland; age 58 years. Beloved spouse & partner to Gilles Bray. Loving mother to Christian Woods (Erika), Renée Bedard (Matthew), Julian Woods (April), Darian Bray (James) and Bryden Bray (Cara). Dear sister of Jason Proude (Dawn-Marie) and Brent Tracey. Caring daughter of Bryan Hickling. Predeceased by her mother Sharron Proude (nee Tracey); and sister Michelle Basalle. Proud grandmother of Olivia, Kevin, Levi, Ava, Jackson, Kallie and Sophia. Leah will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was loved by all. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held later. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to Lymphoma Canada would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Leah, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live. Condolences may be made online at www.munromorris.com
