Clark, Laura May (Brown) (August 8, 1957 – September 15, 2024)
It is with great sadness that we, the family of Laura May (Brown) Clark, wish to announce her peaceful passing on September 15th, 2024, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, with loving family by her side, at the age of 67. Laura is survived by her much-loved husband of 48 years, Thomas (Tom) James John Clark, of Tillsonburg. Laura will be remembered for her steadfast love and support of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Tillsonburg. Survived by her children MaryBeth Clark (partner Dan Barton), of Tillsonburg; Kyle Clark (partner Angelia Hewson), of Tillsonburg; Cory (wife Jennifer) Clark, of Woodstock, Christina Clark, Wesley (wife Aura-Lee) Clark, and by her much-loved grandchildren Tamara Clark, April Clark, Chloey Arnold, Thomas Clark, Eric De Pestel, Lilly Clark, Emma Hendershott-Clark, Nathan Clark. Also survived by her sister Nancy Louch, of Tillsonburg, by her brothers Doug Brown and John (wife Jean) Brown, of Delhi, as well as by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Emmerson Brown, Elsie (Countryman) Wilbert Smith, and by her siblings Guy Brown, Kathy Rockefeller, and David Smith.
In keeping with Laura’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place following a private family viewing and farewell. Later inurnment in Tillsonburg Cemetery. Everyone who knew Laura is invited to share letters of condolence, favourite memories, or contribute memorial donations to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario” or to the “Canadian Red Cross” via Laura’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
