RINGUETTE, Joseph Lawrence ‘Larry’- 75, of High Crest Home, passed away peacefully January 4, 2023 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born April 14, 1947 in Hailebury, Ontario, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Rita (Warren) Ringuette. Larry was a gentle, kind and loving man who was never afraid of a good joke, even if he was at tail end of it. He was a hard worker who could build almost anything. He worked over 50 years in produce, ending his career at Forte’s Market in Brantford, Ontario. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren who he asked about every day. He is survived by his children, Jeremy, Amanda (Randy) Dwyer, Matthew (Jody); his beloved grandchildren, Blake, Brody, Danielle, Brooklyn; siblings, Marc, Elizabeth and Rhonda. The family would like to thank the staff at High-Crest Home for their care during his stay. They would also like to thank the staff at the Aberdeen Hospital especially the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion. Visitors are welcome to drop in to Amanda’s house, 138 Bell Court, Nine Mile River, NS B2S 2S2 on Sunday January 8th from 1-4PM to share a drink and a laugh. Donations in Larry’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
