Kody passed away peacefully at West Parry Sound Hospital, surrounded by his parents and grandparents, when Jesus welcomed him into his forever home after ten years of bravely living with congenital heart defects and their complications.
Kody was an incredible gift to his parents, Craig & Eleanor Martin of Seguin ON. His passing leaves behind a loud silence. He will be dearly missed by his grandparents, James & Delphine Frey and Cliff & Brenda Martin, all his aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his biological family members.
Compensating for his physical limitations with friendliness, curiosity, and humour, Kody considered everyone he knew, a friend. The joy that Kody found in music is now being fully experienced in Heaven.
The family thanks Toronto Sick Kids Hospital and all medical professionals who have served them over the years.
Visitations will be held at Torrance Funeral Home and Chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Bayside Family Church from 12:00 – 1 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at Bayside Family Church on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 1 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy donation to The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family.
