Kathryn Moran (née Hogan) was born on May 25, 1956, in Sheffield, England. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones, after a swift battle with cancer on June 18, 2024, in Mount Forest.
Kathryn will be lovingly remembered by her three sons; Taylor Moran and his partner Katie, Matthew Moran, and Arthur Moran and his wife Heather and children William and Lauren, by her brother Michael Hogan his wife Gladys and children Christopher and Sara, by her sister Margaret Hogan her partner Willy and children Tyrel, Kayla, and Kirsty, and by her son’s father Arthur Moran. She was a caring and generous mother who dedicated herself to raising her boys with love and compassion.
Throughout her life, Kathryn became a familiar member of the community through her work in various service roles and dedication to local community services. Her selflessness knew no bounds as she gave generously of both her time and resources to those around her. Her impact on the lives of others will continue to resonate long after she is gone.
Kathryn was known for being quiet, reserved, and humble. Her gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Despite her challenges in life, she lived a life filled with peace and kindness that left a pleasing feeling with everyone she encountered.
A small celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held at a later date where family members will gather to honor and remember this kind and gentle woman. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider making donations to your preferred cancer foundation, or regional palliative care services in memory of Kathryn Moran.
