It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathy Brown on November 29, 2024 at the age of 81. Kathy is now reunited with her beloved husband Ken (2021).
Beloved mom of Betty (Terry) Pettypiece and Kenny Brown (Sherry Barry).
Cherished Grandma to Amy Pettypiece, Delainie Brown, and Riley Brown.
Loving sister to George Hughes and Rose Hughes.
Best friend of Kathy Hood (nee. Banks) and her daughter Laurie.
Predeceased by her parents and siblings.
Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Kathy was a long time member of “Amherstburg Anglican” church. In her retirement she enjoyed a good Tim Hortons coffee and spending time at her cottage in Temagami, Ontario.
Donations may be made to Street Help Windsor in Kathy’s memory.
On Tuesday December 3rd Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm with a service to honor her life at 7pm all at Families First Funeral Home, 585 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg (519-969-5841).
