Katherine Gertrude (Scrimgeour) Kipfer
Born April 30, 1931, passed away on May 2, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Carl Melville Kipfer in 1992. Daughter to the late James and Gertrude Scrimgeour.
She would tell you that knowing and loving each of her children was the greatest success story of her life. Mother to Rex (Mary) Kipfer, Robin (Fred) Riehl, Craig Kipfer (Desiree Ruby), Tammy (Michael) Campbell, and Brett Kipfer.
She was an inspiration to us all especially her grand children, great grandchildren and great great granchildren; Colby (Kelly) Kipfer, Ryan (Amy) Kipfer, Adam (Jenny) Riehl, Chance (Melissa) Riehl, Ashley (Conor) Barrett, Caleah Campbell Runge (Jack Runge), Sam (Tara) Campbell, Mackenzie (Chris) Kipfer, Mariah (Cole) Kipfer, great-grandchildren; James (Autumn) Kipfer, Karlie, Ethan, Maci, Madison Barrett, Annabella, Julia Riehl, Raven, Jesse, Gunner Riehl, Henry Runge and great-great grandma to Willow and Oakland Kipfer.
Survived by her sister Ruth Stover and sister’s in laws Pauline Scrimgeour and Elaine Bundscho, brother in law Ron (Judy) Kipfer.
Predeceased by her sisters, brothers, sisters in law and brothers in law; Margaret Scrimgeour, Bill (Marion) Scrimgeour, Helen (Ronald) Brenneman, Bob (Lorna) Scrimgeour, Frances (Cy) Farguharson, Grace (Don) Tuer, John Scrimgeour, Roy Stover, Ross Kipfer and Dorothy (Tom) Roulston.
We are forever Altered by the loss as we will always remember her kind and giving nature and the unwavering love.

Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, on Friday May 5, 2023, from 2 – 5 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. A reception to follow will be held in the basement of the Milverton Legion. For those unable to attend the funeral will be available via livestream by going to the funeral home website.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 565, or Knollcrest Lodge Court Yard Project and can be done by contacting the funeral home.
